The past few class sessions our group prepared the creation of our instructional video. We collaborated on the process that included exploring the content standards, brainstorming a creative method to teach on the chosen standard, and then filming and editing the video. I thought this process was a good (and fun) one where my most valuable lesson learned was the importance of preparing a storyboard before filming. This was important to our group because it (1) allowed for filming time to be short and to the point and (2) delegated tasks to all group mates which eliminated the need for our group to be face-to-face together in order to accomplish the task (I mean time is treasured, right?).
